Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress

Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress is a book written by Christine Baldacchino and Illustrated by Malefont. Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress is a book about a kid named Morris that loves school he loves to paint he likes to do puzzles he also he likes to sing as loud as he can during circle time but most of all he loved dress up he loved dressing up he would paint his nails and he loved putting on a tangerine dress he loved the color because it reminded him of tigers and the sun and his mothers hair he also loves the noise it makes the ” swish swish ” when he walks and the “crinkle Crinkle” when he sits. Morris gets made fun of because he likes dressing up as a girl so one day he stays at home because he has a tummy ache. The theme of this book for me is courage and creativity because even though Morris gets made fun of at the end of the book he stands up for himself and for what he likes
